Welcoming The Stranger- a transformational ministry

Location: Mandarin United Methodist Church (In the Family Life Center), 11270 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223-7286 (1/2 mile South of I-295).

Come visit exhibits. Enjoy fellowship and food. See how World Relief works with refugee resettlement in our communities. Hear three refugees tell their personal stories. Listen while volunteers tell their personal stories about being a friend to a refugee. And, learn the transformational power of welcoming the stranger.

Bring hygiene items for all ages- baby to adult, to fill kits for arriving refugee families.

Shaving items, bars of soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, lotions,hair and nail care products, baby care needs, deodorants, and feminine products.
Hostesses: Grace and Serve Circles

All are welcome.

Childcare available if requested by September 7th.
