Guest Speaker

Matthew Soerens serves as the US Director of Church Mobilization for World Relief as well as the National Coordinator for the Evangelical Immigration Table. He is the coauthor of Welcoming the Stranger: Justice, Compassion and Truth in the Immigration Debate (InterVarsity Press, 2018) and Seeking Refuge: On the Shores of the Global Refugee Crisis (Moody Publishers, 2016).

Matthew has written on immigration issues from a Christian perspective in the New York Times, the Washington Post, USA TODAY, Christianity Today, Relevant Magazine and The Gospel Coalition blog and has been featured on NPR, CNN, and Headline News. He lives in Aurora, Illinois with his wife, Diana, and their three children.
